Child Development ProgramLil' Kickers is a one of kind, non-competitive soccer and movement skills program for children ages 18 months - 7 years. As a child development program, Lil' Kickers uses the great game of soccer to teach kids to be successful in life. Kids can begin as toddlers learning how to kick and develop gross motor movements and end up as a school aged player with a strong set of soccer skills and an understanding of the team concept. Classes are designed for specific age groups and skill levels and work together to allowing children to easily progress through the program. The Lil' Kickers philosophy is centered on the 3 C approach developed by the founders of the program. The 3 C's stand for Child-Centered, Non-Competitive, and Child-Centered.
Flag FootballFlag football is another popular recreational activity at Madison Indoor. Flag football is a version of American football that is popular across the United States and Europe. The game's rules are similar to those of the professional game, but instead of tackling players to the ground, the team on the defensive must remove a flag from the player that has the ball in order for play to stop. Each player must carry two flags (three in some leagues): one on each side of the waist and, if three, a third hanging from the back. The flag itself can be anything from large ribbons to small banners. Flag football, like touch football, was designed to minimize the injuries that playing normal football could bring. The game has numerous variations, the most popular of which are 9-man, 7-man and 4-man a side. Flag football has become a popular recreational activity at Madison Indoor. Visit our online calendar or facility for more information on flag football playing times.
CornholeCornhole or Corn Toss is similar to horseshoes except you use wooden boxes called cornhole platforms and corn bags instead of horseshoes and metal stakes. Contestants take turns pitching their corn bags at the cornhole platform until a contestant reaches the score of 21 points. A corn bag in the hole scores 3 points, while one on the platform scores 1 point. Contact us at 859-625-1320 for future cornhole tournament dates.
